Over 10 years ago, I received a copy of Cynthia Heald’s Becoming a Woman Whose God is Enough as a gift. I used it for my personal study. I loved it so much that when we were looking for a new book to use in our women’s group, I recommended Heald’s series. We are now on our 10th and final “Becoming” series. Personally, I have come full circle.

As I open my copy, pouring over Scripture and answering questions, I am using both my old and new pairs of eyes. I recognize that I am at a different stage in life today. Yet I see myself discovering new things to learn and continuing to grow in spiritual maturity. As Paul said, “In regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be adults” (1 Corinthians 14:20). Some life chapters have closed and new ones have opened. But one thing remained the same: “[God’s] words will never pass away” (Matthew 24:35).
